Business Systems Analyst/PM – Finance (Permanent)

The client is looking for a dynamic Business Systems Analyst with Project Management and Finance applications experience. You will play a key role in enabling our Finance and Asset Management Departments to develop innovative reporting and systems solutions. Your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Project Management, Business Analysis and Systems Administration;
  • Business analysis, process mapping and requirements gathering with various stakeholders within the company;
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and increase efficiencies, allowing for scaling;
  • Research and implementation of Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) applications to address business problems;
  • Presenting solution recommendations and communicating progress, obstacles, and growth opportunities to the Finance and Asset Management Teams while ensuring alignment with the overall IT Applications & Landscape Strategy;
  • Overall project management, and analyses, reports development and QA when needed;
  • Assist multiple teams and ensuring that project goals are achieved according to project plans, and in accordance with the departments’ priorities;
  • Engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously;
  • Manage contractor and vendor relationships as required, acting as the Finance and Asset Management
  • Teams’ Single Point of Contact (SPOC);
  • Report writing and Team training on new applications.

 

Your skills and qualifications will include:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager/BA in IT Enterprise Projects with exposure to Finance Systems and Applications;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience using ERP solutions (i.e. Dynamics AX, SAP or Sage); experience using Sage 300 preferred;
  • 2 plus year experience implementing ERP solutions and add-ons (payment solutions, approval workflows, custom forms) desired, but not required;
  • Understanding of operational processes and requirements in the ERP world, with a functional competency in accounting and financial reporting, procure to pay, operations, and CRM functions highly desired;
  • Experience in providing support related to product demonstrations and assisting in needs analysis and solution recommendations;
  • Experience with project scoping, planning, requirements gathering, business process mapping and end-to-end process experience desired;
  • Experience in utilizing defined and structured implementation processes and project management methodologies desired;
  • Experience working on enterprise application integration projects using Microsoft technologies including SharePoint, CRM, SQL Analytics and reporting would be an asset;
  • Previous experience working in financial services or wealth management would be an asset;
