Delivery Driver
Location: Victoria, BC
Opportunity at Microserve
Position Purpose and Summary
Microserve is looking for a Delivery Driver to join our team in Victoria, BC at our Tech-Centre. In this role your primary responsibilities include delivering computer equipment to and from our clients. This position will typically require travel throughout Vancouver Island and the surrounding area.
Responsibilities

Provide timely deliveries and customer service to our clients

Skid deliveries and hand bombing

Updating delivery tickets status in our systems

Assist with computer equipment moves and cascades

Assist onsite technicians when necessary

Retrieve old surplus systems and return to site for wiping

Verify that all deliveries are correct prior to accepting any shipments

Organize and load product for delivery on assigned route

Obtain product receipt paperwork as applicable

Accept returns from customer and return to warehouse

Place product in return area with appropriate documentation

Maintain cleanliness of vehicle
Qualifications
-
1 Year relative experience as a driver or in a warehouse

Clean drivers abstract
-
Experience in dealing with customers face to face

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Forklift certified is considered an asset
Position Requirements

Basic technical skills to assist technicians onsite

Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.

Must have a valid driver’s license

Must be able to drive a 5 Tonne Cube, 1 Tone Cube & Cargo Vans

Must be able to pass a criminal record check (CPIC)

Must have vehicle to travel in between clients
