Salesforce Assessment (6 Month Contract)
Location: Burnaby, BC
Staffing Placement Opportunity

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Code Analysis
  • Structure and dependencies
  • Error and exception handling
  • Code reuse
  • ERD and Class Diagram documented
  • Salesforce best practices for security followed
  • Test case coverage
  • Review and document current and future development standards
  • Review current and future planned solution architecture
  • Determine flow of data
  • Review of non-functional requirements
  • Review and document the interfaces to managed packages; documented in ERD and Class diagram
  • Review current and future planned release management practices
  • Validate release management process follow industry best practices
  • Operational Readiness
  • Validation that all master data can be administered by non-technical resources
  • Ensure ability to identify and analyze problems from error and exception logs
  • Monitoring capability
  • Runbook / Documentation
  • Robustness and resilience of high availability and failure points in the solution
  • Create findings and recommendations documentation
  • Document will be prepared and be no longer than 30 pages in total including cover and supplementary pages
  • Presentation summarizing the findings documentation

 

Specific Qualifications or Experience Required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer and Administrator in Salesforce Service Cloud and Force.com with the following:
  • Excellent understanding of Salesforce MVC Architecture and its components such as Model, View and Controller.
  • Must be a certified Salesforce partner
  • At least 1 Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) as part of their team
  • Strong experience integrating Salesforce CRM with other internal/external applications using SOAP and REST based web services.
  • Capable in developing client specific solutions using visual force pages with Lightning components, Apex classes, Apex Triggers, Controllers & Controller Extensions, Apex Components and Test Methods.
  • Experience in designing Custom Objects, Custom Fields, Customizing Page Layouts, Workflow Alerts, Pick Lists, Record Types, Process builder, Custom Tabs, Custom Buttons, Reports, Dashboards, and Email Generation according to application requirements.
  • Excellent in Administrative tasks like Creating Profiles, Roles, Users, Page Layouts, Permission Sets, Workflows, Approvals, and Activities.
  • Good understanding of Salesforce CRM governor limits with an ability to optimize code to respect those limits.
  • Excellent understanding with writing SOQL for specified applications.
  • Experience in Batch Apex and Schedule Apex Development.
  • Experience in Salesforce Lightning creating apps.
  • Experienced in Deployment using Force.com IDE, Change Sets, ANT Migration Tool organizational needs.
  • Experience with UI development using Skuid platform is a big plus.
  • Experience with web technologies including HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript.
