Summary of the ideal engagement scope:

Background: The client is assessing the feasibility of implementing D356 Customer Insights on its Medical eCommerce channel to create and analyze patient segments.

  1. Translate pre-defined business requirements  to functional and technical requirements in the following Audience Insights capabilities:
    1. Customer Profiles
      1. Data unification and enrichment – bringing in data from the client’s EDW to develop customer profiles that can be used for segmentation
      2. Bring in data from the client’s in-house churn and engagement models
    2. Segments
      1. Creation of segments (manually defined)
      2. Configuration of suggested segments to identify new segments driven by the client’s data
      3. Configuration of segment insights
    3. Automated workflows
      1. Creation of automated workflows to trigger customer email journeys in D365 Marketing (quote as an add-on service)
      2. Creation of automated workflows to trigger customer surveys in D365 Customer Voice (quote as an add-on service)
  2. Solution Design:
    1. All requirements for storage, licensing and services required in D365 and Azure
    2. Data source mapping, leveraging the client’s existing databases and custom machine learning models in Azure
    3. Data unification (match, map, merge), using 3rd party data services and/or custom imports provided by the client’s BI team
  3. Configure and implement the CI capabilities noted above per the Solution Design
  4. Testing (QA and UAT)
  5. Produce all Transition to Operations (TTO) documentation
  6. Training for ~4 IS Admins/SME
