PROGRAM MANAGER (6 month contract)

Staffing Placement Opportunity
The Staffing Services Team at Microserve is seeking a PROGRAM MANAGER to support our esteemed client in Burnaby.
Program Manager Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop strategic technology investment roadmaps for fiscal planning cycles.
- Liaise with key business stakeholders to facilitate project ideation, prioritization, and funding approval via established governance forums.
- Develop necessary collateral, including presentations, briefing notes, and business cases, to support the project development lifecycle.
- Create processes and tools to manage programmatic views for senior leadership consumption.
- Inform and oversee project capacity and demand functions, along with related collateral and processes.
- Lead and manage resources to support program objectives effectively.
- Manage program budgets and track/report on program performance, including project status, financials, risks/issues, constraints, etc.
- Ensure successful delivery of underlying projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Collaborate with other program managers within the TA Portfolio to achieve shared goals and objectives.

- Must excel in building relationships and fostering teamwork.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering enterprise-level programs is essential.
- Capable of handling sensitive and challenging situations effectively.
- Able to work independently to solve problems and possesses excellent project management and analytical skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Specific Qualifications or Experience Required:
- Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of recent, related experience in project, program, and/or portfolio management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation (or equivalent) considered a strong asset.
- Experienced in facilitating and managing consultation processes with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Proficient with MS Office toolsets (Word, Excel, Visio, Project).
