Microserve Awarded Contract for ICBC Personal Computing
Microserve is pleased to announce that we have been selected by the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia as their IT partner for personal computing. Through this contract we will provide IT procurement services, installation, maintenance, and support for ICBC’s fleet of over 5000+ personal computers throughout the Province of BC. This contract was awarded through a comprehensive and competitive procurement process and Microserve was selected as the vendor best positioned to deliver IT services aligned with industry best practices, and maximum value.
ICBC is one of B.C.’s largest corporations and one of Canada’s largest property and casualty insurers. Each year, they process approximately one million claims through a 24-hour claims handling service and online claims reporting. One of the main goals of our partnership will be to help them maximize their IT spend efficiency and control costs by negotiating best market rates on their behalf and through service efficiency.
As a leading provider of end user computing services, and the largest independent IT solution provider based in BC, Microserve is well-positioned to support ICBC through our mature IT service delivery model, province-wide service coverage, and competitive IT procurement offering. We will provide local IT support at controlled costs to keep critical business processes running smoothly, now and in the future.
“We are very excited that ICBC has chosen Microserve as their new partner and are confident that we will be able to help them achieve measurable business benefits and savings through this partnership” says Account Executive Nick Gorse.
One of Microserve’s greatest strengths is our ability to provide high quality and cost-effective IT services to enterprise, geographically dispersed organizations – which is very beneficial for organizations like ICBC, which has 119 branches throughout BC. We look forward to this multi-year venture with ICBC and to delivering personal computing services that meet their evolving needs and technology environment.
