Microserve Charity Event Scores Funds to Increase Access to Higher Education

Microserve Virtual Charity for Higher Education

Vancouver, BC – Microserve is thrilled to announce a major achievement in our continued commitment to supporting the accessibility of quality, higher education in our communities.  At our recent virtual charity fundraiser, we successfully raised $16,000 for the benefit of the Microserve Scholarship and Bursary Funds in place at 4 top educational institutions: the University of Victoriathe University of Albertathe BC Institute of Technology (BCIT) and Douglas College.

“…Microserve has gifted [us] nearly half-a-million dollars in the last 25 years…you guys are pretty awesome.” said Shannon McInnes, Manager Philanthropic Relations at Douglas College Foundation. And while, at Microserve, we appreciate Shannon’s compliment, the true reward is the knowledge that we have been able to help students achieve their academic potentials and reach their goals.

Microserve has always placed a high importance on giving back to our communities, higher education and inspiring the IT professionals of the future, as highlighted by the longevity and consistency with which we have partnered with these educational foundations.

“We’re grateful for our long-term partnership with Microserve and their continued investment in our students’ education and future, said Michelle Ngo, Assistant Director, Leadership Annual Giving at the University of Alberta. Thank you, Microserve, you continue to make a meaningful difference in the University of Alberta community.”

Microserve wants to thank all Bronze, Silver, Gold & Platinum Sponsors whose support were instrumental to making this charity event happen and who helped us to continue to support higher education, continuing studies, and lifelong learning in our communities.
